Agriworks Expo celebrates its 5th year at Sandringham

Agriworks Expo Stellenbosch is celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2014 and is re-locating to a new venue. Earlier this year CADEK Media and Agri-Expo have signed a first of its kind collaboration agreement whereby CADEK Media's Agriworks Expo and Agri-Expo's new Livestock show will be co-located on the same dates at the same venue.

The two shows will take place on 6, 7 and 8 November 2014 on the beautiful Sandringham farm outside Stellenbosch. Although the two events will still each have their own identity and demarcated show grounds, they will be inter-connected so that visitors will be able to visit both events with one ticket. Tickets cost R30 per adult and will be available on the day at the gates.

“The move to Sandringham gives producers from Stellenbosch, Durbanville, Malmesbury, Paarl and as far as Worcester and Robertson, very easy access to their favourite agricultural show,” says Chris de Klerk, owner of CADEK Media and the Agriworks Expo. “The two events perfectly complement each other and the joint presentation at one venue should be seen as a breakthrough for all agricultural events.”

“The time has come for role-players in agriculture to put their money where their mouths are, and show that true collaboration is indeed possible,” says Johan Ehlers, CEO of Agri-Expo. “By co-presenting these two prominent events we bring producers and exhibitors a valuable and extended networking opportunity, while expanding the horizon for agricultural expos in South Africa.”

“Farmers have to diversify and dairy producers will certainly benefit from the Agriworks Expo offering,” says Ehlers. Agri-Expo Livestock celebrates the complete value chain of meat and dairy in a province that leads in terms of milk production. In turn, Agriworks Expo brings state-of-the-art farming technology and implements to the doorstep of the producer and will also dedicate a large section to viticulture, gardening and landscaping.
